I am a fan of The Last Kids on Earth books by Max Brallier! Check out the reviews for The Last Kids on Earth and The Last Kids on Earth and the Zombie Parade.

In Max Brallier’s newest book, 13-year-old Jack Sullivan lives in a tree fort with his best friends and speeds through life like it’s a video game. What is the new discovery in this book? They may not be the last kids on earth! This can be good and bad news but you need to read the book to find out!

For this series, I am including my teenager reviewer, Spystriker!

In this third installment of The Last Kids in Earth series by Max Brallier, the brave but crazy protagonist Jack Sullivan and his buddies are living in a tree house after a monster apocalypse. They get really excited when they find a radio scanner and hear the voices of other humans on it. But then, they are attacked by an undead monster called King Wretch. They battle it, but it escapes by flying away. And there’s another problem: Jack is an orphan, so he doesn’t want his friends to find their families and leave. So he helps his friends have the time of their lives by bringing them to an amusement park. Finally, they defeat King Wretch and hear one final radio broadcast. The book is full of surprises, like hearing from humans in radio broadcasts and seeing random monsters appear out of nowhere. I think other kids ages 9-13 will really enjoy the book because it’s full of comedy and fantasy.
