Flourless Chickpea Chocolate Loaf

chickpea chocolate loaf final

Are you looking to sneak some nutrients into your child’s dessert? Try these chickpea mini chocolate loaves made with an entire can of chickpeas. The taste is mild with no “bean” taste, just a nice fudgy, chocolate flavor. The texture is slightly crumby so you may be cleaning up a small trail of crumbs after your little one!
My son won’t go near any beans but ate this chocolate loaf up in no time. It’s also a snap to prepare because everything is made in a blender! If you are dairy-free, you can easily substitute the milk with almond milk. Get your child involved in the kitchen by letting him press “puree” on the blender. Your kids can also help measure and sprinkle the chips on top of each mini loaf. For a little extra color, use sprinkles instead of the chips.
